In a move designed to promote social responsibility programs, NWC and Al-Azizia Panda of Savola Group signed a strategic partnership to strengthen joint efforts to promote environmental awareness and highlight the importance of water conservation and raise the level of sustainability. The cooperation between NWC and Al Azizia Panda, the first of its kind, is in the field of water consumption awareness. Dr. Loay Al-Musallam, CEO of NWC, pointed out that NWC is keen to enable partnerships with different sectors as a strategic objective within the objectives of social responsibility programs aimed to enhance the sustainability of water and the conservation of natural resources. He said that the Convention came to support the sustainable water management through the use of Al Azizia Panda sites — more than 190 markets in 34 cities in Saudi Arabia and to transfer the knowledge to the public in an effort to reduce water consumption, and raise the level of awareness of the importance of water while defining the problems of desertification, scarcity of water resources in Saudi Arabia, and spreading the culture of improving water use behaviors. Meanwhile, of CEO Azizia Panda Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal, valued the support and cooperation of NWC in order to ensure the success of joint endeavors, adding that the move comes as part of the commitment of Al Azizia Panda in the application of environmental policies aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and the sustainability of water and to promote social responsibility and the welfare of the community.
