JEDDAH — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud recently honored Panda Retail Co. - Savola Group for its contribution and support to the “Charitable Panda clients” project in Makkah which comes as part of its partnership with the Disabled Children's Association. After honoring Muwaffaq Jamal, Chief Executive Officer of Panda Retail Co., the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the projects team. Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Disabled Children's Association (DCA), expressed his thanks and appreciation to Panda Retail Co. for their continued support which reflects the company's interest and support for the programs of charitable works and efforts of disabled children. The company Panda Retail Co. considers social responsibility as an essential part of its effort to be an active member of the Saudi society by supporting both public sector and private sector projects under the slogan "It is our duty.” With this and many more achievements, APU has established its position as a leading company in the retail sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2001, the company began its CSR efforts with a few social projects. Today, APU's CSR projects cover many important social issues through their numerous programs.
