I am writing with regard to the article "Amendments in labor law next month" (Sep. 2). Why doesn't the Ministry of Labor or the concerned authorities invite Saudi business owners and CEOs or managers who are in charge of the company to explain the law and the new procedures to their employees? Most of the time, the owners are not in the country or rarely visit the workplace, leaving mostly bi-lingual Arabs to deal with expatriate employees. When any problems between expatriate workers and these Arab mangers occur, the Arab mangers lie to the Saudi owners to save their jobs. Some Saudi owners are guilty due to their lack of interest in the welfare of their own employees. Avid1111, Online response
