The Saudi Commission for National Heritage (SCNH) launched its cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Airlines on the occasion of the National Day celebration at the King Abdulaziz International Airport on Tuesday. An insider said the commission, along with the Saudia Airlines, have four airplanes with images of the Grand Mosque, the Prophet's Mosque and other Saudi landmarks printed on their fuselage to promote tourism in Saudi Arabia. “The commission printed the images on a Boeing 300ER-777, an Airbus 320, an Embraer 170 and an Airbus 300-330. The airplanes will travel the world. The commission aims to promote both national and international tourism and the National Day as a festive occasion to launch the project,” said the source. The source also said the commission signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Saudia Airlines and the launch of the printed images on the airplanes was only the beginning of the cooperation. “The launch was held at the private Saudi flights building at the airport. It was attended by the Saudi Commission for National Heritage Chair Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Saudia Airlines General Director Saleh Al-Jasser,” said the source. — SG
