If the Prophet calls for killing ‘takfiris', why should we have mercy on them?

Members of Daesh (the self-proclaimed IS) and takfiris (Muslims who accuse their fellow Muslims of apostasy) have taken advantage of the Saudi government's patience and have brainwashed young men into committing heinous crimes. Saudi prisons are full of these young men who are encouraged to wreak havoc in society and instigate sectarian sedition.
Many of these young men, as evidence shows, claim they are remorseful for what they did in the past and express regret just to get out of prison. Once released, they are contacted by terrorists overseas and express their desire to blow themselves up. Yusuf Al-Sulaiman was one of these young men. He strapped an explosive belt around his waist, went into a mosque in Asir and blew himself up.
Al-Sulaiman had been arrested before and was released from prison. The Interior Ministry's statement about the terrorist operation that took place inside the mosque in Abha reported that Al-Sulaiman's father was a staunch sympathizer of the Al-Qaeda ideology.
In fact, several of the young men who were released went to Iraq, Yemen, Syria, or other conflict areas to fight. This has happened many times because all attempts on the religious, social and family levels have failed to bring them back to their senses. These young men chose to go astray. No one, including scholars, can be more merciful and kinder than our Prophet (peace be upon him). It was our Prophet (pbuh) who told us when he was alive about these takfiris. He warned us about them and their actions. He even described their characteristics to us so that we would not be deceived by their appearances.
He said, “Should I live till they appear, I would kill them as the killing of the nation of Ad.” The people of Ad were destroyed by a natural catastrophe that annihilated them because they accused Prophet Hud (peace be upon him), who was sent to them at the time, of imprudence and untruthfulness.
If the Prophet (pbuh) calls for killing them, why should we be kind to them? The order was clear. I understand that some of the arrested young men have not been executed due to security reasons. A close eye is kept on them to get confessions out of them. However, keeping them for a long time in prison might be misinterpreted as unnecessary clemency.
We all remember what happened in 2004 when security officers killed two Al-Qaeda leaders, Sultan Al-Otaibi and Bandar Al-Dakheel. Similarly, we all remember the crackdown on Al-Qaeda cells in Riyadh. At the time, two other leaders of the terrorist group were killed, Abdulaziz Al-Miqrin and Saleh Al-Oufi. The crackdown made these cells leave the Kingdom and go to Yemen.
We hope the authorities will take draconian measures following the blowing up of the mosque in Abha. Our national security is a red line that should not be crossed by anyone, including scholars and the imams of mosques. All takfiris should be beheaded to teach those who want to destabilize our safe and secure country a hard lesson and make them think twice before they attempt to wreak havoc in society.
