JEDDAH – Riyadh Penal Court, which holds its sessions inside prison, released Tuesday three people accused of links to Al-Nakheel Terrorist Cell and asked them to appear before a trial court outside the prison. Nine people accused of terrorism appeared before the court. The Prosecutor General charged them with joining Al-Qaeda terrorist network, aiding and abetting prisoners who escaped from Al-Kharj prison, providing shelter to some terrorists who engaged in Takfiri ideology and held deviant thoughts and hiding some of the wanted persons. The nine people were also accused of forging documents for a terrorist leader who was killed by security forces, transporting some terrorists outside Riyadh, and financing terrorist operations. Three judges presided over the court session which was attended by the media and human rights activists.
