Girl found dead in water tank

JEDDAH — A body of a little girl was hauled up from the water tank of her house on Tuesday. Makkah Civil Defense official spokesman Col. Saeed Sarhan said the operations room received a call from the girl's parents saying their 9-year-old daughter was missing. They said they went to visit relatives in Al-Naseem District leaving her at home. The Civil Defense searched for the little girl until they found her in a cistern behind the house. The Civil Defense hauled her body out of the water but she had already died. The incident is under investigation.
