Grand Mosque to get 500 user-friendly wheelchairs

MAKKAH — The General Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques will put in service 500 new user-friendly wheelchairs for use by sick and aged pilgrims during tawaf (the circling of the Kaaba) and saie (the walk between the mounts of Safa and Marwa).

About 300 of these chairs have already been distributed among wheelchair pushers in place of old chairs, which had been in service for more than 50 years.
