Badea Abu Al-Naja Saudi Gazette MAKKAH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, who is the chairman of the Higher Education Council, has given approval to set up a chair at Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh for research into the affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. The decision came in light of the importance of research and studies in upgrading the services provided to pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah. It also aims to keep pace with the mega projects being executed in the holy cities. Head of the Presidency of the Holy Mosques Affairs Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais lauded the decision and prayed to God to help achieve the best results from the King's directives.
