RIYAD BANK is participating in the national project for drugs prevention “Nebras”, supervised by The National Committee for Narcotics Control. The bank contributed in the project by distributing pamphlets and brochures through its huge network of branches across the Kingdom to raise awareness of the affect of drug abuse. The National Project for Drugs Prevention “Nebras” was launched recently and will be extended for the next five years under the aegis of Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Naif, deputy premier, minister of interior and the president of the National Committee for Narcotics Control. The main purpose of the project is to raise awareness on drugs abuse and bring together the efforts of government agencies and the private sector together in fighting this menace through an integrated program that includes many preventive, advisory, curative and rehabilitative tracks that are designed according to the highest standards. Mohamad Al-Rabeah, General Director of Community Services Programs at Riyad Bank, said that joining “Nebras” project is one of the tools that demonstrate the bank's commitment to social and national responsibilities, spending in-proclaimed efforts to confront the scourge threatening the security and safety of our society. Al-Rabeah said Riyad Bank was proud to be part of such a project that delivers an important message to all the members of society. The bank also looks forward to a state of general awareness among teenagers and young people to prevent them falling prey into this dangerous scourge which threatens the future of our generations and the safety of our society. — SG
