DAMMAM — Police arrested 2,532 illegal expatriates in the Eastern Province during the security crackdown that lasted for months. Eastern Province Police spokesman Col. Ziyad Al-Reqaiti said the police ran an inspection campaign in cooperation with the Labor Office and the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The campaign covered residential neighborhoods, abandoned structures, buildings under construction, shopping centers and streetside shops and kiosks. The campaign covered every village and city in the Eastern Province.
