DAMMAM — Police arrested four Saudis who allegedly carried out several burglaries and robberies in Dammam. The police were tipped off that a gang was robbing expatriates and had burgled several shops. Undercover police started an investigation and questioned several suspects before the four arrests were made. The suspects are in their teens and early 20s. Two of them were detained while two others were handed over to a correctional facility. Preliminary investigations revealed they stole four cars and would go joy riding with the vehicles after modifying them. They also stole car tires and batteries and robbed 15 expatriates of their money and mobiles, Col. Ziyad Al-Reqaiti, spokesman for the Eastern Province Police, said.
