BURAIDAH — Fifty passengers, hailing from East Asia, were injured, some of them seriously, Sunday when their bus overturned on Riyadh-Alqassim Highway, said acting director of health affairs Dr. Sultan Al-Shayeh. Eight hospitals in the city were working at full swing to save and treat the injured people. Traffic police investigations showed that the SAPTCO bus overturned near a gas station on the highway after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. At least 17 ambulances and paramedic teams were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident had been reported. Four of the injured remain in a critical condition while 15 others were in a stable condition.
