ABHA — Seven people were killed in two separate accidents in Asir province Saturday. A head-on crash between two cars claimed the lives of five people in Juhar in Areen sector close to the Najaran border. Civil Defense firefighters and Red Crescent Authority paramedics from Yudmah in Najran rushed to the scene shortly after the accident had been reported. The paramedics pronounced all five passengers dead. Also, two people died while one was seriously injured on the Abha-Khamis Mushait Highway. Traffic officers blamed speeding for both accidents.
