Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior; Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense; several senior princes; former president of the Maldives Dr. Mohammed Waheed; former Lebanese prime minister Saad Al-Hariri; scholars, sheikhs, ministers and senior officials were among the over 1.8 million people to offer Eid Al-Fitr prayers in the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Friday. Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid led the prayers in the Grand Mosque. Emir of Madinah Prince Faisal Bin Salman was among the over a million worshipers at the Prophet's Mosque. The prayers were led by Sheikh Ali Abdulrahman Al-Hudhaifi. In Riyadh, Emir Prince Faisal Bin Bandar performed prayers at Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Mosque. Muslims all over the Kingdom headed to mosques and special places designated for the prayers early in the morning in complete peace and tranquility. Eid prayers are offered to thank Almighty Allah for enabling the faithful to complete the fasting month of Ramadan and giving them an opportunity to pray for expiation of their sins. — SG
