MAKKAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman attended funeral prayer for Prince Saud Al-Faisal at the Grand Mosque in Makkah after Isha prayers on Saturday. Those who attended the funeral prayers also included Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz; Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior; Makkah Emir and Adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Khaled Al-Faisal; Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense; regional emirs, several princes, ministers, and senior officials. Foreign dignitaries who offered the prayers included Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra, Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Chaooh Ihsanoglu, and foreign ministers of some other Islamic countries. Several scholars, diplomats, and citizens also attended the prayers. After the prayer, the King as well as brothers of Prince Saud received condolences from the attendees. The body was later buried at Al-Adl cemetery in the holy city. Earlier in the evening, the body of Prince Saud was brought to the Kingdom from the United States on board a special aircraft. Those who arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport to receive the body included Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Prince Abdullah Bin Turki, Prince Muhammad Al-Faisal, Prince Abdulrahman Al-Faisal, Prince Khaled Bin Fahd Bin Khaled, Prince Sultan Bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Jeddah Governor Prince Mishal Bin Majed, and a number of princes, ministers and senior officials. The sons of Prince Saud — Princes Muhammad, Khaled and Fahd — accompanied the body from the United States.
