NEW YORK — Preston Tucker had four hits, including a home run, and Dallas Keuchel pitched six solid innings as the Houston Astros beat the Cleveland Indians 9-4 in American League Monday. Keuchel (11-3), who was named to the American League All-Star team Monday, struck out eight and walked one in giving up three runs in six innings. Right fielder Tucker led a 16-hit Houston attack with two singles, a double, a home run and two RBIs. National League Reds 3, Nationals 2: Shortstop Eugenio Suarez hit a tie-breaking solo home run in the eighth inning, leading the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-2 victory over the Washington Nationals. Suarez, who went 3-for-4 to raise his average to .329, broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning with a single to left field off Washington starter Doug Fister. In the eighth, Suarez connected on an 0-2 pitch from Casey Janssen (0-2) that landed in the first few rows just inside the left field foul pole for his third home run of the year. Braves 5, Brewers 3: Kelly Johnson hit his seventh home run of the season, and Matt Wisler struck out six over almost six innings as the Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-3.
