Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Yemeni President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi visited late Monday night the Center for National Defense at Saudi Ministry of Defense, which is the command headquarters of the joint coalition operations. The president was received by Deputy Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili, Chief of Armed Forces Operations Maj. Gen. Muhammad Abdul Khaliq Al-Ghamdi, and Director of National Defense Operations Center. President Hadi was briefed on the Operation Renewal of Hope. He thanked the coalition forces for their efforts to restore legitimacy in Yemen and support the Yemeni people. The Yemeni president also visited the cell of evacuation and humanitarian operations at the center. He was briefed about the role of the cell in supporting and facilitating the evacuation and relief operations. Meanwhile, Hadi made new appointments in the Yemeni Armed Forces. Maj. Gen. Ahmed Seif Mohsen was appointed as commander of the fourth military region based in Aden and Brig. Gen. Nasser Abdullah Nasser Ba-Rwis was appointed as chief of staff for the same military region.
