JEDDAH — Indian and Pakistani residence in the Kingdom and guest poets from India made Urdu Gulban.com's monthly Mushaira event a grand success. The Mushaira was the part of this literary organization's regular events, but the keen interest shown by the poets made it memorable. Nadir Asloobi a veteran poet from Hyderabad, India, chaired the event. This program was organized at the residence of his son Athar Asloobi at Al-Aziziyah. Iqbal Shanah from Tabuk, Qabil Hyderabadi, Malik Mohiuddin and Shahid Adeeli were the guest poets. The poet community residing in the Kingdom was represented by Naeem Hamid Ali Al-Hamid, Mujahid Syed, Mahtab Qadr, Aleem Khan Falaki, Nasir Barni, Kamran Khan, Muhammad Barkatullah Farhat, Badruddin Kamil, Altaf Shahryar, Abdul Rahim Shad Bijnori, Afsar Barabankwi, Faisal Tufail (local Pakistani poet), Anwar Ansari (local Pakistani poet), Yawar Muzaffarpuri and Irfan Barabankwi. Al the poets entertained and delighted the audience with their poems. Nasir Barni was master of the event. In the beginning Qari Raziuddin recited few verses from the Holy Qur'an. Athar Asloobi recited a Naat of his father Nadir Asloobi. The program was followed by a sumptuous dinner.
