The couple not only strive to provide a softer image of Pakistan, they at the same time make every effort to enhance collegial ties between two brotherly Islamic countries and international missions. This physician duo, a loving couple, are nature-gifted with friendly and smiling demeanor. Dr Erum aside from meritorious professional career is recognized as a great anchor of ceremonies. They carry the legacy of hospitality of their family and father G.M. Memon, who is recognized as an icon of Pakistan bureaucracy. The premise of Erum and Mansour is to continuously seek Allah's blessings and maintains that portray better and true image of patriotism to homeland Pakistan. For that purpose they hosted a reception which was attended by diplomats of various international missions, such as UK, Singapore, Sweden, Malta, Brazil, South Africa, Ireland, Bangladesh, Albania, Turkey, Czech Republic, Pakistan, Sudan, Ala Uddin Al Askar, investors, educationist, engineers, medical and IT professionals. “Welcome all who enter as guests, but leave as friend,” said Dr. Mansour while addressing this dinner reception. On behalf of his wife Erum and entire family, Dr. Mansour exclusively thanked distinguished guests. He bowed his head in gratitude to Allah the Almighty for enriching his great circle and said, “As we grow, we discover that we are blessed with two hands, one to help ourselves and other to assist others and that's the premise which envisioned Erum and myself to better interact and put forward the right picture of Pakistan.” A special note of thanks was made for Western Union for the valuable assistance and support. Ambassador Lawrence Anderson expressed felicitations on behalf of friends and recalled their first interaction with Erum and Mansour. He said “They are very interactive and thoughtful couple and are equally admired by most of the missions. Alaa Udine Al Askar, former chief of protocol affairs at MOFA, praised this initiative of Erum and Mansour. “A unique gathering outside the Diplomatic Enclave, a promising social initiative of the duo and an opportunity to discuss many issues of mutual concern,” he said, while wishing Dr. Erum on her unique accomplishment. All distinguished guests individually offered congratulations to Dr. Erum Qalbani on her distinctive academic excellence award. A cake was cut to mark the event.
