Illegal structures razed in Jeddah

JEDDAH — The municipality razed unlicensed construction on 1,250 million sq. meters of land in Dhahban. Dhahban Municipality head Fahd Al-Zahrani said the local authority received reports from citizens about random development projects being built. Inspectors investigated the reports and found the projects were unlicensed and violated multiple health and safety regulations. He added the municipality encourages all citizens to report any suspicious construction work in their neighborhoods by calling 940 or via the municipality's social media accounts.
