Young man desecrates mosques

AL-RASS — Police in Al-Rass arrested a young man for desecrating several mosques in the governorate and tearing copies of the Holy Qur'an. According Maj. Badr Al-Suhaibani, spokesman for Qassim Police, officers received a number of complaints in this connection. Undercover officers observed a 20-year-old man and arrested him. Upon interrogation, he admitted to carrying out the acts. He was referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution. Preliminary evidence indicates that the young man is suffering from an unspecified mental illness.
