Dar Al Rowad International School awarded the certificates to graduates of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) class after seven months of hard work, and wise leadership of Omar Aqili, the school's general manager. The ceremony, held at the school's auditorium and attended too by the students' parents, was under the supervision of Emad Bakr, the English supervisor of the school. “Yes, they deserve to rejoice in this achievement, Bakr remarked, adding that was “the natural fair result of seven months of hard work, sweat and blood.” The IELTS Community at the secondary school was launched last week by the orders of Anas Qasim, the secondary principal, in coordination with Mohammad Nassar, the IELTS Community coordinator. It was the first time for a school in Jeddah, if not the whole Kingdom, to hold free IELTS training for all students in secondary level to enable them to join colleges and universities all over the world of their choice since IELTS has become a prerequisite for studying abroad. “We have to congratulate the students and the successful team behind this great achievement in Dar Al Rowad School. This is just the first step of a long path of expected successive achievements, hoping that a small step of a school would be a great leap for the future of our dear students,” Aqili said. Dar-Al Rowad has adopted the well-known YLE (Young Learners English – movers & flyers certificates) Cambridge programs proceeding to Preliminary English Test (PET) and the intermediate Key English Test (KET) for schools ending with the worldwide famous IELTS. Furthermore, the teachers' training was also under the Cambridge criteria as they earned the first three TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) modules which enable them to teach Cambridge programs efficiently and effectively. No doubt Dar Al Rowad School produces smart graduates as no less than Aqili himself underlines the slogan “Passion for something is the main reason for mastering it and creating new achievements.” — SG
