JEDDAH – Master English, an affiliated teacher training institute of London Teacher Training College, offers convenient learning programs for learners willing to learn the English language.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world's leading test of English for higher education, employment, immigration, among others. Master English offers IELTS preparation, courses in business English and letter writing, academic research writing workshops, conversation classes, standard English level classes (UK-format), TEFL tasters, and two-day workshops for new teachers are also held at schools/universities/hotels.
Fatmah Azam Ali, CEO of Master English, said it takes a highly practical approach to teach IELTS if one wants to garner positive results. She said hundreds of prospective students who plan to study abroad look for instructors to help them guide and procure the minimum score required by universities in the IELTS exam. A course for prospective IELTS students will shortly be organized by Master English here, which can be successfully completed in 10 -15 hours.
Ali also said that for the first time in Saudi Arabia, they have conducted a certificate program for teachers who professionally plan to teach IELTS students. Teachers who complete the program with them will regularly be referred to schools, institutes and families who seek expert tutors for the preparation of IELTS exam. The one-day course for teacher training is assessment-based. The candidates are expected to submit the assessments at the end of the program for evaluation, after which certificates will be issued by the London Teacher Training College and certificate of participation by Master English.
The teacher training course for IELTS teachers will be held on November 5 at Movenpick Hotel on Madinah road from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The cost of the course is SR1000 and the candidate should be at least a high school or a university teacher, or a TEFL instructor, or a teacher with a Master's degree with five years of teaching experience. For further information on the course, candidates can contact the concerned officials at [email protected].
The one-day course will be conducted by Ragia Magd Eldin who has been teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at The American University in Egypt and King Abdulaziz University in here. She is an Accredited Oxford Teacher with two post-graduate academic diplomas in education and The Methodology of Teaching English.
Magd Eldin is also a certified teacher trainer from the London Teacher Training College. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Educational Technology from the University of Manchester, England.
