DAMMAM — The police arrested a man for trying to bypass a checkpoint on Tuesday. Eastern Province Police Col. Ziyad Al-Reqaiti said the man, a Saudi in his 20s, tried to escape a checkpoint in Baqiq but rammed into a police car instead. Officers said the driver's mental condition was unstable and he was forwarded to investigation authorities.
