RIYADH — Thrilling matches were played in the second week of Prince Sultan T20 Cup RCL Complex here recently. The tournament is named RCL Patron-in-Chief Prince Sultan Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL).
Cricketers Club got the better of National CC by 76 runs. Batting first, Cricketers scored 212. Ayaz hit 70 with 10 boundaries and Aamir added 33.
Ashraf claimed 4 wickets and Salman 2. In reply, National could make only 136. Afzal blasted 35 and Ashraf 30. Mumtaz took 3 wickets and Qasim 3. Man of the Match: Ayaz.
Mazaya Hyderabad Boyz downed Detecon Rising Stars by 6 wickets. Detecon Rising Stars posted 96 with Umar scoring 15 and Zahid 33.
Riaz bowled well and bagged 5 wickets, while Salah took 3 and Salman 2. Mazaya Hyderabad Boyz was home for the loss of 4 wickets in 11.4 overs.
Ismail scored 34 and Ayub 29. Zahid, Zeeshan and Zahoor claimed a wicket each. Man of the Match: Riaz Gujranwala beat Insaf by 4 wickets. Insaf put on 207.
Abdullah scored 70, Ali 47 and Zeeshan 41. Kamran took 2 wickets. In reply, Gujranwala reached the target for the loss of 6 wickets in 18.5 overs.
Amir scored 60, Waqar 32 and Usman 43. Zeeshan claimed 3 wickets and Waqar 2. Ever Green got the better of Riyadh Blues by 1 wicket. Riyadh Blues made 183.
Abu Sufiyan scored 52, Mohammed Shakeel 68 and Mohammed Fayaz 45. Adil claimed 3 wickets, while Mudassir and Mohsin took 2 each.
In reply, Ever Green crossed the target with a wicket in hand. Khawar hit 65 and Haroon 43. Man of the Match: Khawar.
Diamond CC thrashed JAMIA by 7 wickets. Batting first, JAMIA made 147 with Mushtaq making 50 and Moin Khan 24. Ajay claimed 4 wickets and Saeed 2.
In reply, Diamond achieved the target in 14.2 overs. Ibraheem hit 68 and Hyder 48. Hussain claimed 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Ibraheem.
Shaheen-XI downed Derab Golf by 6 wickets. Derab made 162 with Islam scoring 61 and Sanaullah 23. Farooq and Rasheed claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Shaheen was home in 16 overs. Shakeel made 58, Sikandar 39 and Farooq 21. Salman, Imran and Sabir took 1 wicket each. Man of the Match: Shakeel.
Black Caps thumped South Indian Stunners by 54 runs. Black Caps posted 151 as Adnan scored 28, Zahid 20 and Zeeshan 25. Younas took 3 wickets and Arif 2.
South Indian Stunners collapsed for 97. Zahid took 3 wickets, while Irfan and Altaf claimed 2 each. Man of the Match: Zahid.
Diamond-XI beat SACO CC by 44 runs. Batting first, Diamond etched 191. Abdul Rahman scored 63, Jhanoon 31, while Sami and Azharudin added 20 each.
Kalesh took 2 wickets. SACO was bowled out for 147 as Kasim made 27, Vipin 22 and Imran 20. Jely bagged 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Abdul Rahman. — SG
