Ministry of Labor spokesman Tayseer Al-Mofarej said the licenses stipulate that the offices should provide affordable services for their clients.
He said: “There is a rising demand for housemaids in the recruitment market.
“The ministry has updated its regulations to only allow new offices that are specialized in recruiting housemaids to open.”
He added the ministry has facilitated obtaining visas for expatriates by authorizing private sector recruitment offices to apply for a visa via the Musaned portal.
“Clients are encouraged to approach the ministry for any complaints or suggestions by visiting the website www.musaned.gov.sa or emailing us via [email protected].
“Clients may also reach us personally at any of our offices or by phone by calling our customer service call center 19911.”
