RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable to Prince Saud Al-Faisal, minister of state, cabinet member, adviser and special envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and supervisor of foreign affairs. In the cable, the King noted receiving a request by Prince Saud Al-Faisal to relieve him of his position on account of his health. The King said the request by Prince Saud included feelings of sincere loyalty to his religion, King and homeland. The King hailed Prince Saud's services which lasted for 40 years. The King said accepting Prince Saud's request was a difficult and hard decision and that he highly appreciates Prince Saud's circumstances and feelings. The King added that he responded to the desire of Prince Saud to be relieved of his position after he insisted. The King stressed that Prince Saud will remain close to him and to the work he loved and worked hard for.
