With regard to the article “Indonesia executes foreign drug convicts, defying global anger” (Apr. 29), drug dealers and peddlers are more dangerous than murderers. Drugs are the scourge of our present times ruining and destroying the lives of our children. World leaders, while claiming to be against hard drugs, are condemning Indonesia for these executions. This is absolute hypocrisy. The late leader of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew was someone who would not spare anyone who was caught with drugs. I wish he were alive to express his views. Indonesia has every right to implement its laws. Ismaeel. Marikar, Online response
