Baltimore police hand over death investigation to prosecutor

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore police commissioner said on Thursday the results of the investigation into the death of a black man following his arrest by police have been turned over to a state prosecutor.

Commissioner Anthony Batts told reporters that 30 detectives were assigned to the investigation of the death of Freddie Gray, who died a week after his arrest. Batts added that the investigation is not over.— Reuters
