JEDDAH — A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Colombo to Jeddah was delayed for over two hours on Thursday because of a water leakage in the first class cabin. A Saudia spokesman denied reports on social media that flight SV781 suffered a protracted delay in the Sri Lankan capital. Mohsen Al-Qarni, Saudia's director of customer services and sales for Asia, said while preparing the aircraft for the flight, cleaners discovered that potable water was leaking from the main pipe into the first class cabin. “The captain was informed and he immediately asked that passengers do not board until the leak was fixed,” he said. Qarni said a maintenance team was called and it immediately stopped the leak. “The fixing of the fault and the boarding of the passengers took about 139 minutes, after which the aircraft took off and safely landed at Jeddah airport in Jeddah,” he said. “The leakage was from the main pipe pumping clean water to the first class cabin,” he added
