Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers re-opens with same elegant spirit

If you want to discover the beautiful side of Dubai Creek, then you must discover it through the landmark Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers that recently re-opened following its renovation that cost $ 50 million.
Sheraton Dubai Creek is considered one of Dubai's oldest hotels and has been in operation since 1978. It was also the first Starwood hotel to open in the UAE.
To make Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel &Towers the leading hotel in the Creek, the refurbishment included guestrooms, facilities, public space and the hotel's restaurants—the Italian restaurant Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo and the Indian restaurant Ashiana by Vineet. Both eateries have Michelin-starred chefs.
“We want to be the leading hotel in the Creek,” said Stephan Vanden Auweele, general manager of Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel &Towers.
“Sheraton Dubai Creek reflects the heritage of this great city, with more than 35 years of service to the local community as well as global travelers.
The renovation of this landmark hotel allows us to meet the increased demand for high-caliber accommodation with distinctive guest experience, providing global travelers and local community with an inviting gathering place for all occasions,” he added.
Following its massive renovation, the hotel seeks to become Dubai's place-to-be for global travelers and locals with its combination of warm Arabian hospitality and modern elegance.
“The renovation of Sheraton Dubai Creek reinforces the hotel's position as an iconic landmark in Dubai. While we are committed to growing the Sheraton portfolio across the region, it's extremely important for us to ensure our existing hotels are operating under the latest brand the latest bran standard.
With the renovation of Sheraton Dubai Creek we have embraced the modern interpretation of classic design for which the Sheraton brand is known for,” said Guido de Wilde, senior vice president and regional director of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
The recently re-opened Italian restaurant called Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo gives visitors a precious opportunity to experience delicious Italian food with a beautiful view of the Creek.
The restaurant's ambience is unique, and the design and decoration combines between contemporary, elegant and classic designs.
Vivaldi opened in 2000 and became one of the best Italian restaurants in Dubai. It was also recently refurbished, delivering its renewed combination of authentic pan-Italian cuisine.
The restaurant comprises a gourmet, casual traditional trattoria and a trendy lounge menu available all day with signature dishes and beverages.
“Dubai as well-known as a hub for excellent cuisine, but the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers offers more than simply good food; it brings true destination dining to the country culinary connoisseur.
Alfredo Russo's food is certainly unique in the local area,” said Stuart Sage, executive chef at the hotel. If you want to be taken on a culinary journey around India, then you should go for Ashiana by Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. The restaurant is located in the beautiful setting by Dubai Creek.
Ashiana is also home to a variety of delicious Indian food; the restaurant is also decorated well. Chef Vineet Bhatia is the only Indian chef who has two Michelin-starred restaurants.
He has led highly acclaimed restaurants across the globe and has won international awards. Creek Side Japanese Restaurant at Sheraton Dubai Creek is one of the top 10 restaurants on TripAdvisor's best restaurants in Dubai.
The unique Japanese restaurant is famed for its true taste of Japan and Asia, theatrical live-cooking station and fantastic views of the creek.
“We are delighted to see diners choosing Creek Side Japanese Restaurant as among the best in Dubai, and being recognized so quickly as one of the top 10 restaurants in the whole of Dubai in Trip Advisor is a true honor,” said Sage.
The hotel also has a terrific panoramic view of the Creek and Dubai's skyline. The hotel, located on the Creek's edge, offers a stylish relaxing escape for business and leisure.
The hotel has 268 guest rooms and suites, and provides guests with the perfect respite to immerse themselves in the charm of old Dubai.
The full refurbished rooms feature a contemporary design with a warm palette. The Creek-view rooms come with high ceiling windows that open up to panoramic water views and Dubai skyline.
The top floor of the hotel offer guests of Sheraton Club rooms and suites, with exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge for private check-in and check-out, complimentary continental breakfast, evening drinks and shakes, free wireless Internet access, as well as refreshments throughout the day.
The hotel also offers visitors and Dubai residents the chance to sharpen their culinary skills in a series of masterclasses led by some of Dubai leading chefs.
Sheraton offers extensive meeting and function rooms with the Dubai Ballroom accommodating 500 guests and four breakout rooms located in the executive Conference Center.
Many businesses events and weddings are held in Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel. The fitness facilities are also held by Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance.
