RIYADH — The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its 11th consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) for this year in Al Khobar on April 10-11 at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam. The Embassy Consular team was composed of First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal (Team Leader), Saipoden Manalao, Melchor Remoral, Yvonne Mofar, and Jane Abegail Nunez. Filipino community volunteers from Al Khobar, Damman and Jubail assisted the team. The team was able to process 339 e-Passport applications, 30 passport extensions, 5 lost passport applications, 9 reports of birth, and 143 notarials. The team was also able to release 179 new e-Passports. The mission will conduct the next Consular Outreach on April 17-18 at the Al Jazeera International School, Dammam. The Embassy will provide a full range of consular services to Filipino nationals in Al Khobar and other nearby areas in the Eastern Province from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday All Passport Renewal Applicants will be accommodated based on their previously obtained appointment. Applicants may secure/book an appointment thru Embassy's website at: www.philembassy-riyadh.org. The appointment schedule of those who have previously booked last April 2-3, which was postponed, will be honored during the rescheduled outreach mission. All passport applicants must also bring their old passport and a photocopy of their passport's data page. Passport application fee is SR240. For other consular services, applicants will be entertained on a “first come, first serve” basis. Applicants must bring a photocopy of their valid passport and other relevant documents. Earlier, a weeklong mission on March 22-26 provided a total of 682 passport renewal services to Filipinos in the Eastern Province at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Al Khobar. The Embassy team was composed of Aniline Punzalan, Edison Ipac, Yvonne Mofar and Melchor Remoral. The team also received valuable assistance from the Filipino community in the Eastern Province. — SG
