RIYADH — A Saudi man was sentenced to prison for three years and banned from travel for the same amount of time after being convicted of funding terrorist activities and visiting countries where terrorism was known to be prevalent. The Specialized Penal Court heard that the man had conducted suspicious financial transactions and would only travel to certain countries believed to be terrorism hubs. The court discovered he would access blocked websites online and save banned material on his hard disk. He also associated with a number of terrorists and deviant groups and did not report them to the authorities.
