DAMMAM — A Saudi student in Texas has been missing for 15 days and his friends and family have not received any news of him, Al-Hayat reported. A Saudi students group in San Antonio, Texas reported Mohammad Al-Ghannam went missing on Mar. 28. The general manager of the Saudis in America group Ghadah Al-Ghunaim said the organization is not authorized to post anything about the victim without the consent of his family. He said: “I hope he returns to his family safe and sound. “His friends are organizing a search party via Twitter asking anyone in the state of Texas to get in touch if they see him.” Ahmad Al-Safran, who gave a series of lectures on “A Successful Saudi Student Abroad” and is a volunteer at the Saudi Cultural Bureau in America, said Kingdom authorities based in America are doing their best to investigate the disappearance. He said: “They have reached out to several people and several directorates. “They were unable to reach anyone who knew him personally. “My team of volunteers and I will be searching for him but we have little information to go by. “We don't know what he studied or how old he is but we will still go out looking for any clues.”
