I am writing with regard to the article "Call to create family offices to facilitate transfer of leadership" (Apr. 9). The 21st century is the high-tech era. But even today, 90 percent of cargo sails through oceans and seas. However, despite the fact that land, air and sea travel is easier, businesses are more than ever vulnerable to financial upheavals and statistical jugglery. There is a need to pass on to the future generations the basic principles, customs and valued family traditions - the rule of "H-5", namely, Honesty, Hard work, Honoring pledges, Humbleness and Home of the workers. Happy workers mean flourishing and prospering family businesses. An-Naeem Fikkargah, Online response
