170 kg of expired food seized

QURAYYAT — The municipality here seized 170 kg of expired food, 110 kg of rotten fruits and vegetables and some expired makeup products. Qurayyat Municipality Acting Head Farhan Al-Enizi said the municipality is running an unannounced inspection campaign throughout the city. He said the municipality expects storeowners to abide by its rules at all times and not only when an inspector is coming to visit.
