JEDDAH — The Indian Commerce Ministry along with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) are hosting the “Global Exhibition on Services” from April 23-25 in New Delhi. The event will be held at the India Trade Promotion Organization, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Over 40 countries are expected to participate in the exhibition, which will also have over 4,000 structured buyer-seller meets and seminars. The exhibition's objective is to create a global platform for increased trade in services. The exhibition will enhance strategic cooperation and develop synergies to strengthen multilateral relationships between all stakeholders. It will also be a platform to showcase the inherent strength of services sector in India, with focus on the following sectors: IT and Telecom, Tourism, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare, Logistics, Professional Services, Education, SME in Services, R& D and Space Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the exhibition, which would provide a great opportunity for Saudi Companies to showcase their potential by participating in the event. There would be a special focus by CII to publicize the participants from Saudi Arabia. The Saudi India Business Network (SIBN) is coordinating with the Consulate General of India, Jeddah, to take a delegation from Saudi Arabia to India to participate in this exhibition.
