TABUK — Jordanian police foiled an attempt to smuggle 55,000 drug pills into the Kingdom. The police reported a smuggler hid the pills in numerous boxes in his luggage and then took a bus from Jordan to the Kingdom. The vehicle was stopped and the pills were discovered when the passenger's luggage was inspected. Meanwhile, police arrested two young men for possession of 1,000 drug pills in Al-Hinakiyah region. Police spokesman Col. Khalid Al-Badrani said officers became suspicious of the two in their vehicle and upon searching it, they found the pills which had a street price of SR14,000.
