IN view of proposed change in the two most popular international management system standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, TÜV Rheinland Arabia has held recently a one day seminar at Mövenpick Hotel, Madinah Road, Jeddah. The topic of the seminar was “ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 - Changes and Implications”. TÜV Rheinland, in continuity of its commitment to quality and safety, has once again taken an initiative to keep its customer and market aware and prepared for the changes coming in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The change in the international standards is going to redefine and refine basic management concepts, tools and practices. Seminar had participants from various organizations both in manufacturing and services. Representatives from SASO, SFDA and STC were also present during the seminar. The participants found the seminar thought provoking, informative and leading to help them bring committed changes in their system documents and in management practices. TÜV Rheinland Arabia has been successful in bringing quality professionals, management experts and performance champions together on a highly demanded awareness seminar. Seminar was presented by Eng. Ahmed El Tuwaisy followed by open question & answer session handled by Eng. Ahmed EL Tuwaisy and Eng. Mohammed Nadeem. The participants appreciated the presentations and expressed the need of further seminars on the similar topics.
