LG, Shaker Group unveil revolutionary 2015 SASO-compliant air conditioners
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 03 - 2015

LG & Shaker Group unveiled to the Saudi market for the first time the revolutionary 2015 SASO-compliant air conditioners products and technologies.
At a joint press conference at the Marriott Hotel in Riyadh on Saturday, the top management from Shaker Group and LG Electronics, showcased the new product lineup, including 5 Korean-made Split models, 3 Saudi-made Split models and 4 Saudi- made Window models.
LG's flagship residential air conditioner – the Titan Deluxe Big eco Inverter V – that boasts exceptional durability and powerful cooling with essential features for surviving the region's unrelenting heat and considered as the hero product for the year, received enormous praise from the attendees.
The new model also guarantees highly energy-efficient operation and protects consumers and their families by offering several advanced healthcare features.
The Dual Tropical Compressor and Gold Fin features, both incorporated in the Titan Deluxe Big eco outdoor unit, offers improved durability and operational stability – even in temperatures as high as 60 degrees Celsius.
In addition, the LG Titan boasts superior cooling power, rapidly reducing the indoor temperature to the user's desired level through optimized cooling functions such as the 20m Windblast and Jet Cool II.
Commenting on the 2015 LG Residential Air Conditioner product lineup launch, Jameel Al- Molhem, Managing Director of Shaker Group, said: "Our 2015 product line up, including internationally and locally manufactured devices, are compliant with SASO regulations and consistent with the Saudi government regulations towards more energy efficient technologies, thus leading to a healthier environment.
Shaker-LG, being the market leader providing consumers with bestselling air conditioning solutions for more than 10 consecutive years, was the first to introduce 2015 SASO-compliant products, in addition to our commitment to raising awareness on our eco-friendly and energy saving technologies through EER stickers that inform consumers on how much energy is released from each device."
“Guaranteed with optimum qualities and services, we boast pride in our service mechanisms by hosting 22 service centers, 190 mobile vans and more than 250 specialized technicians across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia placed at the service of our loyal customers wherever they may be, who have entrusted us with their feedback in line with the national survey we launched last year, along with the loyalty to care for their devices, especially that summer is just around the corner,” Al-Molhem averred.
Deuk Soo Ahn, President of LG Saudi Arabia, said: “LG's Air Conditioning business is a leading player in the global air conditioning market, particularly in Saudi Arabia where these devices are turned on almost year round.
Our world-renowned inverter technology is an innovative, energy-efficient feature that automatically adjusts the unit's power to maintain room temperature rather than repeatedly starting and stopping the compressor.
The Titan Deluxe Big eco Inverter V is a fresh example of LG's ongoing innovative R&D. It delivers all the benefits that Saudi Arabian customers have come to expect from an LG RAC and more, all delivered hand in hand with our longtime partner, Shaker Group.”
LG's revolutionary Inverter V Technology (including the highly efficient variable speed compressor) enables the Titan Deluxe Big eco to perform quietly and powerfully while consuming approximately 60% less energy than non-inverter models. Furthermore, the company's industry-leading inverter systems ensure greater cooling capabilities and improved airflow.
The Titan Deluxe Big eco unique filtration system - the Multi Protection Filter and the Plasmaster Auto Cleaning powered by 3M Technology - provides users with a clean, bacteria-free indoor environment and has been certified by a number of world renowned institutes.
Titan Deluxe Big eco also possesses the new Comfort Sleep mode which regulates temperature, airflow and noise in order to create ideal sleeping conditions. — SG
