JEDDAH — The inclement weather conditions on Thursday caused disruption of flights in some of the Kingdom's cities. Several flights had to be re-routed or re-scheduled, according to informed sources. Taif Airport was closed for about 90 minutes to air traffic. Air Arabia flights had to be diverted to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah instead of Taif. Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight No. 1440 between Madinah and Riyadh was re-routed to Dammam. While the Flight No. 1231, from Riyadh to Ar'ar, was diverted to Tabuk. There were flight delays due to thick fog that enveloped the region.
