With regard to the post "Landlords can't be blamed if they don't rent to Saudis" (Mar. 17), one of the problems is law and the way that it is enforced. If an expatriate does not pay the rent, he can be kicked out immediately, so the landlord has assurances. However, if a Saudi does not pay the rent, the police won't do anything. So if an expat fails to pay the rent, the landlord can do something about it. The law should be enforced on Saudis too. Then maybe landlords won't be faced with such problems.
