MAKKAH — The municipality closed down a warehouse in Al-Kaakiya District over multiple food and health violations and seized 500 kg of food from the premises. Makkah Municipality employee Mamdouh Iraqi said the food had expired and was stored incorrectly. The warehouse owners were fined over the violation. He added the municipality ran an inspection campaign last week in which several restaurants and warehouses were closed down for various violations.
