Many writers have talked about this issue before. Every Saudi citizen looking for safety and comfort has some concerns about this issue and wants to see his society free of expatriate workers who violate the nation's laws. Some expatriate workers only care about money. Their main concern in life is to raise money by any means. You see them everywhere, looking for work and money. Many of them are not good at any work and are unskilled. They are the cast of the comedy series called “Low-Skilled Expatriate Workers.”
They con us and lie to us about their skills and we believe them. The only reason that they are here in the Kingdom is because they have found a way to get here. Some of them arrived with the help of other Saudis, or rather traitors who call themselves Saudis.
These expatriates are poorly qualified and are known to purchase fake educational certificates in their home countries in order to apply for visas to enter the Kingdom. They represent those workers in their home countries who are unable to find jobs because they are unskilled. They are a burden on their own societies. Smugglers take advantage of this and send them to the Kingdom. We are stuck with them now and do not benefit from them. On the contrary, their continued presence creates security concerns. But little do these people know that our brave security officers are able to deal with violators. A day may come when our patience ends and we stop showing mercy and turning a blind eye to their transgressions. At present these workers think that we are weak or unable to deal with them. However, our courageous security officers will teach them a lesson and will show them how to respect and comply with the laws of the country that welcomed them and whose favor they have failed to return.
Those expatriate workers engaged in illegal practices, such as smuggling undocumented workers, drugs, guns, etc. should be severely punished. The security forces should intensify their efforts to catch them along with those who sell fake car parts, perfumes, cell phones, etc. Security officers recently caught 20 men in Jazan who were dressed like women while trying to enter the Kingdom. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry's inspectors also recently raided several factories and warehouses where fake products were being manufactured, while, in Al-Qassim, police arrested 4,765 expatriates of different nationalities for violating the law.
