Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Riyadh chapter of Jamia Millia Islamia Alumni Association has congratulated the entire Jamia family, especially Vice Chancellor Prof. Talat Ahmad on the university being accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the highest 'A' grade rating. "Undoubtedly, this is an important achievement in the progress and onward march of our alma mater. However, we have to go a long way in order to achieve our desired goals and aspirations," a statement issued by Ghizal Mahdi, president of the alumni association, said. In this connection, the statement also recalled the golden words enshrined in the Jamia anthem (Tarana) that in English say: "Ceaseless movement is our faith; And blasphemy it is to stay still; Here, the destined goal is; The march on and on; This is the land of my hopes; This is the land of my dreams."
