JAZAN — Road security patrols in Jazan Province arrested a man and his family traveling in a pick-up truck on the international road for smuggling hashish. The officers grew suspicious of the driver and stopped him. On searching the vehicle, they found 50 blocks of hashish hidden under its seats. The detainees were referred to the authorities concerned for action. In another incident, an Arab expatriate was arrested on the international road for smuggling 261 bundles of qat.
