RIYADH — Royal Academy of Cricket (RAC) Combined Schools XI beat Pakistan International School Riyadh Nasriya (PISR) by 2 wickets in an Inter-School U-19 match here recently. PISR, opting to bat first, posted 154. Faisal was in dashing mood and scored 70 with 10 boundaries and 3 sixes. Omer (47) and Abdulrehman (20) made useful contributions. No other batsmen could play with confidence and wickets fell at regular intervals. Sufiyan and Obaid claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, RAC achieved the target in 19.3 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. It was not easy going for RAC all the way. The match became interested when RAC needed 12 off 12 balls. Hisham scored a deserved 47, Hilal hit 32 and Etrut 22. Faisal and Abdul Rehman bagged 3 wickets each and Omer 2. Hisham was named Man of the Match.
