NAJRAN — A motorist was killed in an accident on Saturday after he lost control and crashed into a streetlight on the side of the road. The crash was so strong that the rescuers had great difficulty extracting the driver, who got trapped inside the wreckage, said Najran Civil Defense spokesman Lt. Col. Ali Al-Shahrani. He was still alive when they pulled him out but he was pronounced dead on the way to hospital. Traffic officers opened an investigation into the accident.
