NAJRAN: Civil Defense personnel Friday found the body of a woman at the foot of a mountain on the Saudi-Yemeni border. The woman is believed to have died from a fall during an attempt to enter into Saudi Arabia illegally. The find was reported to the Border Guards Friday at 7 A.M., said Captain Ali Al-Shahrani, the Najran Civil Defense spokesman. He said the Mountain Rescue teams travelled from the department's center in Aba Assaoud and Alarisa rural centers to the scene. The teams worked hard to reach the body which was in a rugged area. The body was moved to King Khaled Hospital in Najran and placed in the morgue. Investigations to identify the woman and the accident are underway, he said. Meanwhile in a car accident in Najran, a man died when his car collided with an electric pole on Sharoura Road in Alarisa District Friday at dawn. Al-Shahrani said the man was dead when the rescue teams arrived and pulled the body from the wreckage.
